Late Season Contest: 12/1/25-1/15/2026
Rules:
Fair Chase and Free Range Oklahoma deer only. No high fence preserve or pen raised deer are allowed for entry. Please send any questions regarding the Fair Chase/Free Range rule to ben@bowhuntingleague.com prior to hunting.
Weapons Allowed: All Archery equipment permitted by Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation see the link for details (Big Game Regulations | Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation)
All entered bucks will be recorded under the contest period in which they were shot.
Example: If you shoot your buck the evening of 10/31 and recover it the next morning, 11/1, you buck will be entered in the October Contest.
Hunters have 24 hours to recover their buck after the shot. Recoveries made more than 24 hours after the shot are not permitted for entry.
All Buck entries shall be submitted within 5 days of recovery. Entries after 5 days will not be permitted. The buck submission form is located at BowhuntingLeague.com/Okieland
Submission requirements:
Name, email, and phone number of Hunter.
Date Buck was shot.
Date Buck was recovered.
Weapon information
(1) Photo of Intact Deer (No head/rack only photos, no caped out deer photos, no skinned carcass photos)
(1) Photo/Screenshot of Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation E-check registration of Buck.
(1) Photo of Buck Scoresheet (Official Score is not required for initial entry)
When feasible please bring you deer or rack by the shop. We love hearing the stories of your hunt.
Competitors may submit 1 upgraded buck provided it is in the same contest period.
An official scoring event will be held at Okie-land Bowhunters Pro-Shop & Indoor Range after deer season closes. The event date will be announced at a later time. All hunters wishing to be eligible for the highest gross score contests must have their buck’s antlers at the event. The highest gross scoring buck for each contest takes home All communications about the event will be sent via email and posted on social media.
Prize: 100% of the “Jackpot” Okie-land Bowhunters Gift Card is awarded to the highest gross scoring buck for each Contest (see rule #8 above). The “Jackpot” is determined on how many entries are received. Every entry for October, November, and Late Season Contests add $50 to the “Jackpot Gift Card” for those specific Contests. “All 3 Combo” entries add $42 to each “Jackpot Gift Card”(October, November, and Late Season) Contest. Updates are posted on Okie-land Bowhunters social media. Feel free to swing by the shop to ask about the contest or email ben@bowhuntingleague.com if you have any questions.
Refund Policy: No refunds. All entry fees go toward Jackpot prize amounts. Under no circumstance will a refund be issued.
If a tie occurs, the Jackpot will be split equally among the winners.
This contest is administered by Bowhunting League LLC. Submitted photos may be used in social media posts in collaboration with Okie-land Bowhunters Pro-shop & Bowhunting League.
